Thesis work
In the fall of 2005, I began to explore the potential of a jacquard woven fabric to function as a focal point within a space designated for meditation or contemplation. The fabric installation would function to assist the architectural environment in offering a respite from the tensions of social experience.
By installing the lengths of panels next to one another, but at different depths from the wall, I hoped to communicate the experience of time and light.
